Our open admission policy allows anyone to enter these programs regardless of previous experience. The KD Studio: Actors Conservatory takes pride in its open door policy of admission. Students from diverse backgrounds and from all walks of life are welcome. We strive to create an environment that promotes personal development and learning over competition.

The 15-Month Career Acting Program

Similarly, our 15-month Career Acting Program is open to all students regardless of their background or previous experience who meet the following requirements.

Applicants must be a high school graduate or qualify under the G.E.D. testing program. It is the responsibility of the student to furnish proof of high school graduation or completion of the G.E.D. Each student needs to audition with the Director of Education prior to acceptance into the program. No prospective student will ever be denied admission on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap, age, or veteran status.

Credit for Previous Training

At the discretion of the Director of Education, credit for previous post-secondary training can be granted. For more details or to request a free catalog contact Admissions Office at 214-638-0484.

Transferability of Credits

Students who wish to continue their post-secondary education after leaving KD Studio must be aware that decisions regarding the acceptance of credits is at the discretion of the institution to which application is being made. (While the administration of KD Studio may provide assistance in obtaining transfer credits, the Studio can make no guarantees that credits will be accepted by other institutions.)
