Using the latest techniques of Dallas' top models and fashion professionals, students develop their own style, image and self confidence. Course work includes skin care, runway, photography, make-up, hair care, etiquette and TV commercials. Concludes with a Graduation Fashion Show for family and friends. /$650

Career Dimensions
A comprehensive self-enhancement and Personal Image program for women only.
Personal Image is a comprehensive self-enhancement program. While this course covers the ever-changing directions in wardrobe, make-up techniques, nutrition and skin care, special emphasis is placed on a positive self-image and the impact it has on every phase of our lives. Helen Martin will give women the tools and knowledge necessary to craft "your own style" using the elements of concept, design, and balance to create the personal image that is best for you. Video equipment will be used in Posture and Walking sessions; the client will be taped, "playback" reviewed and any problems will be addressed and improvements suggested. Voice and Diction course emphasizes verbal communications, working on articulation, and eliminating distracting mannerisms, again the client will view themselves "on camera". Strong emphasis on separates and fashion accessories to update each individual's wardrobe; evening and daytime make-up, hair care and styling will be covered in the 8 week course along with Interpersonal Relations covering protocol, business and social etiquette. The last class is devoted to a photo-session with a top Dallas photographer providing each individual with a professional headshot. ./$550

Helen Martin is an experienced television actress, spokeswoman, image consultant and writer. As a top high-fashion model, Helen has appeared in dozens of designer shows, including Christian Dior, James Galanos, Kritzia, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel, Bob Mackie, Donna Karan, Pauline Trigere', Fendi Furs, Valentino and Givenchy. She has appeared in numerous fashion magazine layouts, and is featured as one of 75 women in the book, Texas Women, published by Taylor Publishing. Her fashion and commercial modeling background includes bookings by internationally known fashion photographer, Victor Skrebneski. In the fashion industry, Helen was named Midwest Regional Fashion Director for the Neiman Marcus stores where her responsibilities included serving as liaison for the Chicago fashion press, supervising all major fashion events for the three area stores. Her responsibilities included producing and presenting fashion clinics to the community and civic groups. Helen Martin is creator and lecturer on The Ten Principals of a Polished Image + One ™ She has served as Style Editor for "Today's' Dallas Woman" magazine and is currently, a contributing writer.

Carla has had one of the most successful and longest active modeling careers in Dallas. Represented by Kim Dawson Agency/Dallas and Zoli Agency/New York her career spans 19 years and has taken her to locations throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Her extensive runway, print and film experience has provided her with a wealth of knowledge in the areas of personal care, health, beauty and fashion. Techniques developed by Carla have contributed greatly to her longevity as a professional model.
