KD Conservatory a Subsidiary of KD Studio, Inc. offers a 4-semester program for the Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Musical Theatre. The aim of the conservatory program is to realistically prepare students as performers in the competitive business of Musical Theatre by emphasizing Theatre Classes & Drama Classes with a top notch faculty and staff. At the completion of the program students can expect to have the range and ability to perform varied styles and forms of Musical Theatre and Performing Arts.

What sets KD Studio’s Theatre Classes and Drama Classes apart from other acting classes is our faculty – experienced, working professionals who know the business from the inside out. For over 30 years, KD Studio has been helping artists hone their craft so that they can succeed in the entertainment industry. KD Studio has become one of the country’s most successful training grounds for professionals in acting, musical theatre, and movie production.

About the Program Chair
Mr. Serrecchia was an original cast member of A Chorus Line for which he received a Special Drama Desk Award and Theatre Critics Circle Award. Other Broadway credits include The Rothchilds; The Selling of the President; Heathen; Lady Audley’s Secret; Seesaw and Sing Happy. Read More

Program Curriculum
In the first semester students will benefit from Music Performance, Ear Training and Piano I. Emphasis here will be to develop the connection between the keyboard (which is included in the tuition) the ear, the brain and the voice. Read More

Admissions
Applicants must be a high school graduate or qualify under the G.E.D. testing program. It is the responsibility of the student to furnish proof of high school graduation or completion of the G.E.D. Read More
